Internship Program for Undergraduate Students

 

 Requirements:

  1. Name Registration:

To participate in this program, you must first register your name. The registration form is provided below. Pay the registration fee of Rs 50/- and the course fee of Rs 500/- via bank or UPI scanner mentioned in the form, and keep a photo of the payment receipt. Filling out the registration form is mandatory.

2. Submission of Personal Details:

After registration, you must fill out a Google form with your details and press the send button.

3. Registration:

 Participants must register their details through the given link.

4. Submission of Work:

Within two months of registration, participants must submit their thesis in Word or Google Doc format, along with a PDF version, to the following email: samadhwani.culturaljournalism@gmail.com 

Submission Guidelines:

  • The thesis should be original and written by the student.
  • It must include students’ details, a clear village name, an introduction, main content, and a conclusion.
  • Necessary to deposit relevant photographs, audio-video, or field notes. (*Note: Photographs of the interviewer with all the interviewees, village natural sceneries, important places of the village, Water sources, hills, stream, and farm lands during the farming season, and all photos are in landscape )
  • Proper acknowledgment of sources (if any) should be included.
  • The document should be neatly formatted and proofread before submission.

5. Certification:

Participants who successfully submit all required documents will be awarded a certificate by Samadhwani. The certificates will be issued in digital (PDF) format and sent to the participants via email.

6. Research Thesis / Notebook Preparation

Each participant is required to prepare a research thesis or report on their own village. The work should reflect a systematic documentation of the village’s history, culture, environment, and way of life.

After registration, participants must complete the questionnaire within eight weeks, following the guidelines provided in the given link. (Follow no 3- Registration Link)

7. First Page Content

The first page of the thesis/notebook should include the following:

  • Geographical Introduction: Clearly mention the district, block, and nearby prominent locations of the village.
  • Historical Overview: Provide a brief account of the village’s history and background in your introduction.
  • Objectives of the Research: State the purpose and focus of the study.
  • Creative and Visual Elements: Include relevant photographs, drawings, and literary compositions (such as poems or short stories) related to the village.
