Samadhwani is a cultural and musical initiative that was founded in the early 2000s, aiming to provide a forum for underrepresented voices in society. It began in Bhubaneswar, located in the eastern Indian state of Odisha, where a group of like-minded individuals came together on a mission to build a progressive cultural forum. Samadhwani believes that various forms of cultural and musical expressions can act as a unifying tool to bring about social transformation among people. Samadhwani’s primary objective is to bring forward marginalized voices through different cultural forms. In pursuit of this objective, it organized several cultural and musical events, workshops, and seminars to promote marginalized communities. Samadhwani also attempted to reach out to more people by releasing a music cassette in the name of ‘Samaswara’ in 2011 and launched a quarterly cultural magazine in 2012. Over the years, Samadhwani’s performance has been remarkable. The organization has received critical acclaim and appreciation from different quarters of our society. Despite facing financial constraints, Samadhwani has always been dedicatedly involved with its mission to provide a space to all kinds of progressive cultural expressions of marginalized communities. Samadhwani is extremely thankful to those who are passionate about culture and willing to contribute to its promotion. It requires the support of like-minded individuals willing to contribute to this cause. This will help Samadhwani overcome financial constraints and build a community of individuals who share a common passion and vision. In 2016, Samadhwani launched one more initiative to connect with a vast mass and more significant section of artists and art lovers. To achieve this, it launched a digital platform on March 10, 2018, and started using social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to reach a broader audience. Young artists and thinkers are helping Samadhwani to make this possible. The organization has faced several hurdles and hindrances along the way. Still, with the cooperation of one and all, it has established itself as a growing progressive cultural organization.

Samadhwani Collective began as a humble attempt to offer a forum for the underrepresented cultural forms. Since the beginning, we tried to highlight diverse cultural nuances frequently disregarded by mainstream platforms. The founding principle of Samadhwani is to establish a progressive cultural forum to encourage artistic expression for positive social change. Samadhwani actively plans seminars, workshops, video documentation, Podcasts, and activities to support underrepresented groups. Despite financial difficulties, we have presented exceptional programs and achieved recognition from critics for our commitment to creative cultural expression. To reach a wider audience, we launched a digital platform in 2018. Without your help, we won’t be able to carry out our outreach, which will bring together thinkers, artists, and culture enthusiasts from all walks of life. We have continuously attempted, via various means, to increase public knowledge of the Ganda Baja, a traditional art form of western Odisha. To bring attention to the issue, we have created the documentary “Ganda Baja.” We are bringing attention to the underappreciated female folk musicians, such as the remarkable Dalkhai Rani Gurubari Mirdha, who made priceless contributions to the traditional Dalkhai dance of Western Odisha. By contributing to our cause through outreach, research, essays, and videos, you can join us in honoring female artists and other marginalized folk artists of Odisha. To accomplish this, your assistance is essential!

ସମଧ୍ୱନି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ
ସାଧାରଣ ମଣିଷର ସ୍ୱରକୁ ସଙ୍ଗୀତରେ ପରିପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାର ଇଛା ଖୁବ ପିଲାଟି ଦିନରୁ ମନ ଭିତରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଥିଲା । କିନ୍ତୁ କେଉଁଭଳି ଏହାକୁ ଆଗେଇନେଇ ହେବ ଧିରେ ଧିରେ ମନରେ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କଲା । ବିଭିନ୍ନ ମଞ୍ଚରେ ଗଣସଂଗୀତ ପରିବେଷଣ କରିବା ଭିତରେ ଏହାକୁ ସାଙ୍ଗଠନିକ ରୂପ ଦେବାପାଇଁ ସୁଯୋଗ ମିଳିଲା । ୨୦୦୦ ମସିହା ପରର କଥା । ସେତେବେଳେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ପ୍ରୟାସ ଖୁବ କୋଚିତ ନଜକୁ ଆସୁଥିଲା । କେତେଜଣ ବନ୍ଧୁ ଓ କିଛି ସାଥୀଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗରେ ଏହି ପ୍ରୟାସ ଖୁବ ଛୋଟିଆ ଭାବରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା । ଏହା ସହିତ ଧିରେ ଧିରେ ଯୋଡ଼ିହୋଇଗଲେ ପ୍ରଗତିଶୀଳ ସଂସ୍କୃତିକୁ ଭଲପାଉଥିବା ଅନେକ କଳାକାର, ବୁଦ୍ଧିଜୀବୀ, କଳାପ୍ରେମୀ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବିଶେଷ । ଉଦ୍ୟମଟି ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ସହର ଭିତରୁ। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ପାଖାପାଖି ଆଦିବାସୀ ଗାଁ’ର କିଛି ଯୁବ କଳାକାରମାନେ ସେତେବେଳେ ସାଥି ଦେଲେ କାମଟିକୁ ଆଗେଇ ନେବାପାଇଁ । ଏହି ଉଦ୍ୟମଟି ୨୦୦୦ ମସିହା ପରେ ପରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ଯଦିଓ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ପରିବେଷଣ କରିବା ଅଧିକ ସମ୍ଭବ ହୋଇପାରିଲାନାହିଁ ଅନେକ ଆର୍ଥିକ କାରଣ ଯୋଗୁଁ । ସବୁଆଡେ ବୁଲି ବୁଲି ଗାଇବା ଓ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ସହର ଭିତରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଘର ନେଇ ଏହାକୁ ଚଳାଇରଖିବା କଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା । ଅନେକ ସମୟରେ ଅର୍ଥ ହିଁ ମୂଳ ପ୍ରତିବନ୍ଧକ ହେଲା । ସେତେବେଳେ କିଛି ସହଯୋଗ ନୂଆ ନୂଆ ବନ୍ଧୁ ମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ମିଳିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା । ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରହିଲା ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଜନଗଣଙ୍କର ସ୍ୱରକୁ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ, କଳା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ତଥା ନାଟକ, ସାହିତ୍ୟ, ଫିଲ୍ମ ଆଦି ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ପରିପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବା । ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ସଂପ୍ରୀତିର ସଂସ୍କୃତିକୁ ଦୁଇପାଦ ଆଗକୁ ଆଣିବାରେ ସହଯୋଗ କରିବା ।
ସମଧ୍ୱନିର ପ୍ରୟାସରେ ୨୦୧୧ ମସିହାରେ “ସମସ୍ୱର” ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଆଲବମ୍ ସିରିଜ୍ ତିଆରି ହେଲା । ଆଲବମ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବ୍ୟୟବହୁଳ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ଅର୍ଥାଭାବରୁ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଗୀତ ରେକର୍ଡ଼ଂ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବାଧାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲା । ଏବେ ପୁଣିଥରେ କିଛି ଗୀତ ରେକର୍ଡ଼ିଂ କରିବାପାଇଁ କିଛି ସାଥି ଏକାଠି ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟପାଇଁ ଆର୍ଥିକ ସହଯୋଗର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ରହିଛି, ଯେଉଁଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଗତିଶୀଳ ସଂସ୍କୃତି ପ୍ରେମୀମାନେ ଆଗେଇ ଆସନ୍ତୁ ବୋଲି ଆମେ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରୁଛୁ ।
୨୦୧୨ ମସିହାରେ ସମଧ୍ୱନି ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ ସଂଗଠନ “ସମଧ୍ୱନି” ନାମରେ ଏକ ତ୍ରୟୋମାସିକ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ ପତ୍ରିକା ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲା ଓ ପତ୍ରିକା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଅଧିକ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଉଦ୍ୟମରେ ସାମିଲ କରିବାପାଇଁ ଉଦ୍ୟମ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲା , ଯାହା ଏବେ ୧୨ ବର୍ଷ ପୂରଣ କରିସାରିଛି । ଏବେବି ଧାରାବାହିକ ଭାବରେ ସମଧ୍ୱନି ତ୍ରୟୋମାସିକ ପତ୍ରିକା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଉଛି। ତଥାପି ସମଧ୍ୱନିକୁ ବ୍ୟାପକ ଭାବରେ କଳାକାରମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଓ ହଜି ହଜି ଯାଉଥିବା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଲୋକକଳା ସହିତ ଯୋଡ଼ିବାପାଇଁ ଓ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱରକୁ ସଂପ୍ରୀତିର ବାନ୍ଧି ରଖିବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ନେଇ ସମଧ୍ୱନି ଡିଜିଟାଲ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ କାମ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲା ୨୦୧୬ ମସିହାରେ, ଯାହାର ଲୋକାର୍ପଣ ହେଲା ୨୦୧୮ ମସିହା ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ୧୦ ତାରିଖରେ । ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡ଼ିଆରେ ବିଶେଷକରି ୟୂଟ୍ୟୁବ ଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଫେସବୁକ, ଇନଷ୍ଟାଗ୍ରମ ଓ ଟୁଇଟର ଆଦି ମାଧ୍ୟମକୁ ସମଧ୍ୱନି ଲୋକ ସମ୍ପର୍କ ପାଇଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ବ୍ୟାପକ ଭାବରେ ସଂପ୍ରୀତି ଓ ସଂହତିର ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଚାଲିଲା । ଏହିସବୁ ଉଦ୍ୟମ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର କଳାକାର, ସଂସ୍କୃତି ପ୍ରେମୀ ଜନଗଣ, ଯୁବ ସାହିତ୍ୟିକ, ଲେଖକ, ନାଟ୍ୟକାର, ବୁଦ୍ଧିଜୀବୀ, ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଯୋଡ଼ିହୋଇ ଚାଲିଲେ ।
ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଅଣ ଆଲୋଚିତ ଅନେକ ଲୋକକଳା ଓ ସଂସ୍କୃତିକୁ ଆଲୋଚନାର ପରିଶରକୁ ଆଣିଲା ସମଧ୍ୱନି । ବିଶେଷକରି ‘ଗଁଡ଼ାବଜା’ ଭଳି ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଏକ ଆଦି ବଜା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ 2015 ମସିହାରୁ ଲଗାତାର ଭାବରେ ଛୋଟ ଛୋଟ ଭିଡ଼ିଓ ଡକ୍ୟୁମେଣ୍ଟ ଓ ଲେଖା ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଲା ସମଧ୍ୱନି ପୃଷ୍ଠାରେ । 2022 ମସିହାରେ ‘ଗଁଡ଼ାବଜା’ ଉପରେ ଏକ ଡ଼କ୍ୟୁମେଣ୍ଟାରୀ ଫିଲ୍ମ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଗଲା ।
ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଅନେକ ଲୋକକଳା ଏବେବି ଅଣଲୋଚିତ ହୋଇ ରହିଯାଇଛି । ଅନେକ ଲୋକକଳାକାର ନିଜର କଳାକାର ପରିଚୟ ମଧ୍ୟ ପାଇପାରି ନାହାନ୍ତି । ସେହିସବୁ ନିଷ୍ପେସିତ କଳାକାରମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ସବୁଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ନିଷ୍ପେସିତ କଳାକାର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଲୋକକଳାକୁ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରୁଥିବା ନାରୀ କଳାକାରମାନେ । ଆଜିଯାଏ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ନାରୀ କଳାକାରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣିବାର ଜାଣିବାପାଇଁ ଅନେକ ପ୍ରୟାସ କଲାପରେ ବି କୋଚିତ ଜାଣିବାର ସୁଯୋଗ ମିଳିଛି । ସେଥିପାଇଁ ସମଧ୍ୱନି ଏ ଦିଗରେ ନୂତନ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେବାପାଇଁ ଉଦ୍ୟମ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛି । ଏହି କାମଟିକୁ ଆଗେଇନେବା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଅନେକ ପ୍ରକାରର ସହଯୋଗର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ମଧ୍ୟ ରହିଛି । ନିଯ୍ୟାତୀତ ଓ ନିଷ୍ପେସିତ ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଏହି ନାରୀ କଳାକାରମାନଙ୍କୁ ନ୍ୟାୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବାପାଇଁ ସମ୍ମିଳୀତ ଉଦ୍ୟମର ଓ ଆନ୍ତରିକତାର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ରହିଛି ।
ଏହିସମସ୍ତ କାମକୁ ସମଧ୍ୱନି କୌଣସି ବଡ଼ ବଡ଼ କର୍ପୋରେଟ ସହଯୋଗ ବିନା ହିଁ ଆଗେଇ ନେବାପାଇଁ ଆରମ୍ଭରୁ ପ୍ରୟାସ କରିଆସିଛି । ଆମ ବନ୍ଧୁ, ସହଯୋଗୀ ତଥା କଳାପ୍ରେମୀ ପାଠକ ଓ ଦର୍ଶକମାନେ ହିଁ ଆମର ପୁଞ୍ଜି । ସହଯୋଗ ବିନା ଗାଁର ନାଟକ ଆଜି ଯେମିତି ବଞ୍ଚିରହିବା ସମ୍ଭବ ହୋଇପାରୁନି, ସେମିତି ସମଧ୍ୱନିର ଏହି ନୂତନ ଉଦ୍ୟମ ଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଜାରିରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଏକ ସଂପ୍ରୀତିର ସଂସ୍କୃତି ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବାପାଇଁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ସହଯୋଗ ଜରୁରୀ । ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଆର୍ଥିକ ଓ ବୌଦ୍ଧିକ ସହଯୋଗରେ ସମଧ୍ୱନିର ଉଦ୍ୟମ ଆହୁରି ଆଗେଇ ଚାଲିବ। ଏଭଳି ଏକ ଆଶା ଓ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଆମକୁ ପ୍ରେରଣା ଦେଉଛି ସବୁ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ପରିସ୍ଥିତିକୁ ସାମ୍ନା କରି ଏହି କାଯ୍ୟକୁ ଆଗେଇନେବାପାଇଁ।
