Articles/Essays: 800 –2,000 words – Research, analysis, opinion
Village Histories: 500–1,500 words – Ama Gaan Ama Jeeban format
Short Stories: 2,000–3,000 words – Fiction, memoir, folklore
Photo Essays: 10–20 images + 300 words – Visual documentation
Audio/Video: 5–15 minutes – Folk songs, interviews, performances

A: Absolutely! We provide templates, examples, and mentorship. Start with a simple village story.
Q: Can I submit in my local dialect (Sambalpuri/Kalahandi/Ganjami)?
A: Yes! Dialect content is highly valued. We’ll add standard Odia translation if needed.
Q: I recorded my grandmother singing. Is that enough?
A: Perfect! Send the audio with her name, age, village, and song context (2-3 lines).
Q: Do I get paid for submissions?
A: Samadhwani is a volunteer-run organisation with no external funding. We offer recognition, certificates, and portfolio-building opportunities instead of payment.
Q: Can I submit the same content to other publications?
A: After we publish, yes. Just mention “First published in Samadhwani” when republishing elsewhere.
Q: What if my submission is rejected?
A: We provide feedback on why and suggestions for improvement. You can revise and resubmit!
Q: How do I cite Samadhwani content in my research?
