Our Mission
Samadhwani is a humble initiative to bring together the marginalized and suppressed voices of the most ordinary people in our society. It intends to work as a catalyst of the cultural transformation process by involving the creative, humanist, and visionary elements of different sections of our community. It’s an independent cultural organization from Odisha that has worked on artistic research, practice and publications of print and digital cultural magazines, Audio and Videos on indigenous cultural groups and forms since 2005.
Art and culture are essential to our individual and community lives and for a more equitable and just world. As a catalyst of cultural transformation in the field, we started our digital platform in 2018. We are exploring critical research and experiments on Odisha’s various cultural practices and groups.
It has been a massive challenge to sustain all our work without state support. Since the space for mobilizing resources has declined, we need help from one and all. Our close friends and culture-loving people have been our only source of strength. Please support us in addressing the people’s culture.
